What to Expect When Working With Me
I get it, bringing on a new photographer can feel risky. You might be thinking, “I don’t know if they’re any good.” Or “What if we don’t click?” Or worse, “What if this ends in a total disaster and I’ve wasted my time and money?”
That’s why I make working with me as easy and stress-free as possible. With over 20 years of experience as a professional photographer, you can be confident you’re not getting an off-the-shelf shooter who just picked up a camera last week. You’re getting consistency, reliability, and high-quality results.
As for getting along, well, I can’t make promises, but I’ve had great experiences working with agents and homeowners alike. Most people find I’m easy to work with and keep things running smoothly.
Booking a Shoot
Scheduling with me is simple, like, really simple. All of my photo packages and add-on options are listed here. Just choose what fits best, fill out a few quick details, and your shoot is booked.
To keep things low-stress, I don’t take payment until after your photos are delivered. You’ll have the chance to review everything before paying. Easy.
After You Book
Once your shoot is scheduled, you’ll receive an email or text confirmation with all the details. If anything looks off, you can easily reschedule or adjust the appointment details using a link in that message.
You’ll also receive a Get Ready Guide, a quick, helpful checklist for you and the homeowner to prepare the property before the shoot. Following this guide makes a big difference in how polished the final images turn out.
The Day Before
I’ll send a confirmation message the day before the shoot. If the home is occupied, please make sure the homeowners know we’re coming. (You’d be surprised how often agents forget to mention it to the homeowners until the morning of!)
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please let me know as soon as possible. Changes made within 24 hours of the appointment may incur a $100 cancellation fee. I don’t like enforcing that, communication is our friend.
Shoot Day
I’ll arrive at the scheduled time, ready to go. You might wonder whether you need to be there, and honestly, it depends.
If this is our first shoot together, I’d love to meet in person. But if you’re tied up, no problem. In fact, about 85% of the time, agents aren’t onsite. As long as there’s access through the homeowner or a standard lockbox, I’ve got you covered.
Depending on your package, I’m usually onsite for 2–3 hours. If you’re used to an HDR-only photographer, I might seem to move a little slower, but that extra time goes into lighting and detail that really make your photos stand out.
After the Shoot
You’ll receive an email with your final media, typically within 24 hours. That email includes three links:
View Branded Page – a property website with your logo and contact info.
View Unbranded Page – perfect for MLS listings.
View & Download Your Media – where you can preview, pay, and download your content.
From the View & Download Your Media page, you can download photos in different sizes for MLS, print, or social media. You’ll also find any videos or floor plans included in your package.
Don’t skip the Marketing Content tab, it’s one of the coolest features. You can design and customize property flyers, social media graphics, and other marketing materials right from your dashboard. With ever changing templates, it’s definitely worth checking out.
That’s It
No stress. No confusion. Just great communication, high-quality photos, and a smooth experience from start to finish.
